With heavy industrialization in the state, expanses of forestland and vegetative cover have been lost. The Foundation’s programs in Tamil Nadu are concentrated on the environment as a high priority. Thousands of trees have been planted in Trichy, Coimbatore Deverkulam, Tirunelveli, Sankeneri etc. Health and hygiene has also been focused on in the area.

More than 10 projects have been initiated or undertaken in the state, mainly through partnerships with Civil Society organisations.
